WrenchLog Pro is a pay and performance tracking tool for automotive technicians. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the WrenchLog Pro service:

  • Account information (email address, display name)
  • Job logs (RO numbers, vehicles, book hours, repair descriptions, repair lines)
  • Work clock entries
  • Pay settings and user preferences
  • Feedback submissions
  • Subscription status and billing metadata (via Stripe)

We do not collect unnecessary personal data.

Payments & Subscriptions

WrenchLog Pro uses Stripe as our payment processor.

  • We do not store credit card numbers.
  • All payment information is handled securely by Stripe.
  • Stripe may collect and process billing information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide pay tracking and reporting features
  • Calculate earnings and efficiency metrics
  • Maintain your account and subscription status
  • Improve the app based on user feedback

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Cookies & Sessions

We use a secure authentication cookie to keep you logged in.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored securely using encrypted connections (HTTPS).

  • Free accounts may have limited historical access depending on subscription status.
  • Pro accounts retain full historical access while subscription is active.
  • If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our active systems.

We may retain minimal technical logs for security and fraud prevention purposes.

Data Sharing

We only share data with service providers strictly necessary to operate WrenchLog Pro, including:

  • Hosting infrastructure providers
  • Stripe (for payment processing)
  • Email delivery services (for authentication and notifications)

These providers do not have access to your job data beyond what is necessary to perform their services.

We do not sell your data. Period.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including:

  • Encrypted HTTPS connections
